As quickly as the holidays are coming, in reality, so is next year's race season. The ABA made some changes this year as to when we could call in and get our multi-point race dates approved and scheduled for the 2010 race season. We were able to call earlier this year so we already know some dates that we wish to pass on to you. We have been approved to have our Double Point RFL on Friday, July 25th, an Earned Double Point Race on Saturday, July 26th and our State Qualifier on Sunday, July 27th. Now that these dates are finalized we will be working on the complete schedule for 2010 when we meet again in January.
We have been busy getting some necessary things done before the weather turned against us. We have added a spectator area to the NW corner of the track, two additional light poles have been installed by berms 1 & 2 for additional lights that are on order, and another entrance to the start hill/gate opposite the staging area is being added for age group gate practices for larger races.
Community support for the Badger State National is awesome We are working with the City and Home Depot on the parking areas and are contracting with the Fire Dept for the required medical personnel and handling many other items. Many congratulations and offers to assist in any way they can have come from many businesses, other tracks and local families. We feel that we have been blessed with the best volunteers in the world. We can't thank everyone enough. We are hoping to update this blog at least monthly throughout the off season.
We want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Good luck to all who are continuing to race the indoor tracks.

Web Site
Saturday Amanda Kris and I will be working on the web site. After that we will post the pictures of the fly over we did in Sept for the state final race. I guess I forgot to get them on the site. Sorry. Amanda Kris and I have some new ideas for the web site. Hopefully we will get it going this weekend. We will have a separate page just for the national, Front page should be laid out different, and some other things. Hope you will like it.
The planning for the national is coming along good. Some small bumps but all is working out. I cant believe how many people and business's have volunteered to help and be involved with this major undertaking. If you have input on this event let one of the board members know your thoughts and we will bring them up at the meetings we will have during the winter months. We will try to keep updating this winter about the happenings with the national and other things all winter.

Badger State National???
Yes, you are reading correctly. Kris & I have been contacted by the ABA and were informed that Central Wisconsin BMX has have been picked to host a national in 2010 - on July 23 thru 25.
This is awesome news for us as a track but also for the community. We are very proud of all the hard work and dedication of our Board but also the many volunteers, riders and parents that have contributed to our success. Special thanks to AJ & Jennifer at the Wisconsin Rapids Convention and Visitor Bureau (CVB) for their contribution and assistance in helping us show that our community is a great place to host such a special event.
I will try to keep everyone updated throughout the off season. Be sure to check out the ABA's site for updates also.
The Board will be meeting here shortly (after some of them get back from Disney) to start on organizing the "wish list" that we want to accomplish before this event. We will post when we need volunteers/helpers/workers to assist us. We have never been disappointed in your support and/or help when we have asked for it. We look forward to working together to make the event a huge success.
Badger State National? Yes, it really will be happening. July 23, 24 & 25 of 2010.
Thank you!

Last race for the year
Thanks to all this year.
We had our most successful year so far in the history of cwbmx.
We will have another meeting soon to talk about next year and this year. We will give an update on this years results. Moto count and rider count for this year. Maybe even a dilly bar count.
The final race went off with out any problems. We got to give out alot of track awards. I think everybody liked them.
It has been a fun year. All kinds of interesting things happened this year. We built a storage shed (man cave) which holds the air compressor and all the guys toys. We sealed the track which was a bigger project than we expected but I think we may have that under control for next year. We black topped the berms. Turned out very well. I have never seen the racers go so fast around berms till they were paved. You racers are so fun to watch. We used up about 100 yards of clay this year we can never figure out where it all goes. I think some riders take allot home on there clothes.
We will have more announcements thru out the off season so keep checking this blog for updates.
Hope to see many of you during the off season.
